The Internet is the one
place on Earth where intellectuals and ignoramuses can meet
on equal ground. Unfortunately, this society is one that
publicly encourages the ignorant and discourages the
intellectual. Good, well-written information is now left to
the professional publications and a few scattered personal
sites and blogs. Whether this site is an encouragement of
stupidity or intellectualism is a judgment left entirely up
to you. To be honest, I don't really care which you choose.
This site is a personal experiment where I try to present
well-written blog articles that most interest
me.
Warming up...
We had a couple of days with some
good snow the past few weeks, but temperatures are starting
to reach those 60’s which means it’ll soon be the perfect
weather for hiking! Already walked around the local park
here and can’t wait to branch out to a few new parks this
summer. I’ve got a big list and I can’t wait to tackle all
of them!
My Broiled Life
I love working real early in the
morning. I often get the astonished look from my friends
when I tell them I get up at 5:AM every morning to work on
my projects. It is the one time in the day when I can work
undisturbed and without worry. It is long before I need to
start worrying about work, long before most others are
awake. I'll put on some music and just start working away.
At 5:AM it is still dark and it's staying darker longer.
Unfortunately I work in the basement and the only view to
the outside is a tiny window near the ceiling. But, I've
been fortunate enough to be able to design my own little
work studio complete with a work station, coffee/tea area,
lounging chair, tv, and a betta tank. I don't care to spend
a lot of time alone lately, I like to be with someone doing
something, but this time, these two hours every morning....
just for me. A little haven where I can pursue those things
that interest me most and be alone and not worry about a
thing. This is my time.
the rose life
It is Clinical time for Rose.
Unfortunately it’s a little far away, one hour drive (one
way), but it’s only a couple of times per week. Hopefully
the next couple of months of this will get us the results
we need. After Clinicals it’s graduation!
